Humidifier tube temp, rainout

Post by dream321 » Sat May 21, 2022 2:19 pm

I’m doing some trial and error to try to rectify dry mouth I’ve been having for the last 2 weeks. Tried taping my mouth shut. It didn’t help. Now, I’m going to try stopping Flonase for a little while, and bump up the humidity.

In the past, when I turned humidity beyond 4, I’ve gotten rainout. Any suggestions of what to raise the tube temperature to, if I raise the humidity to 5? Tube temp on 4, is 81 degrees.

Hello friend, I had same issue, what resolved for me is humidity level 4, tube temp 70 degrees.

Till you figure out what is comfortable for you, Biotene Moisturizing Spray works wonders for dry mouth, good luck......

Ambient room temp is your most critical factor when it comes to condensation.
The cooler the room the greater the chance for condensation to happen.
