Missing tubing adapter for Swift FX mask?

Post by ronragus » Wed May 11, 2022 12:20 pm

Hi all, I was recently gifted a lightly used swift fx mask to try, but the end of the tubing seems to be missing a plastic adapter to connect to my hose. If I have to buy a new replacement tubing thats like $30 usd, are there cheaper options for me to get this mask to work? Willing to pay shipping to WA state if anyone has spare parts that works, thanks!

If an adapter is needed it comes with the mask. . NO adapter is needed to attach the hose to the machine.

If the part circled is missing, it was broken off.
The cuff is integral to the hose.
You need to replace the whole shebang.
Sorry, busted is busted.

I use this mask, and I see nothing broken here. Simply a missing part that snaps on to the short hose. I have no spares to send, sorry.

I think you're right.
It would be a swivel or a snap coupling.
It might be 2 parts.

There's a Swivel Hose Coupling available on cpap.com.
I remember buying one years ago when I wanted to extend my hose, and at the time what I bought was a standard hose to standard hose coupling, with a swivel.
If the Swift FX cuff is the same size as the CPAP hose cuff - you can us it -

The swivel adapter works by connecting two CPAP hoses together, and its 360-degree rotation capability prevents the extended hoses from kinking or pulling on the CPAP mask elbow.
