Not so good...

At first all was good but within 15 -20 minutes I am assuming the pressure started to rise as I drifted off and immediately woke to the sound and feeling of air leaking out of both sides...

I slightly tightened the left side and that helped there but the no go on the right constant sound of air leaving...

after trying a few more taking it off and putting back on, strap adjusting etc I gave up and put on another mask .... I woke up and for some reason reached out and put the mask back on.... after a few minutes i got air leaving on the right side only..... then I don't know why but I rolled over on my right side and it seemed like the pressure of that roll over on my pillow put enough pressure on the leak to stop...

I got up with this slight bit of news and went on with my day... I am going to try that tonight in the hopes of sleeping on my right side may work until we find something better.. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi, are you sure you're not overtightening the straps ? That can cause leakage as well

I start off with the straps loose and only tighten them till the air stops leaking

Okay...ruling out full beard making it hard to keep the mask from leaking. Had to ask because it does happen sometimes that after everyone comes up with ideas then someone asks about facial hair and then we find out that facial hair is involved.

I totally understand...

Here is an update.... last night wash and dry face, wiped mask with CPAP wipes......
start like new..... moved mask to my face and slightly attached straps.... turned on CPAP , slowly tightened the straps until air leak stopped, top one first, bottom one second.

I laid down and had to stop very small leaks again.....
started falling off to sleep and the right side gained another air leak... again I slowly tightened till it quit....I went to sleep and was awakened with leak on right side but this time I just moved my finger to plastic frame and slightly pushed -0 the leak quit.... I DID NOT TIGHTENED THE STRAPS AGAIN but having been sleeping on my back,,, I rolled over to my right side and the leak quit and I spent the night in great sleep.... AHI 0.08 was the readout and smiley green faces - including a smile on my face also....
I will continue to sleep on my right side and see if this is the magic cure and continues..
