My retro-tiktok-elevator-music band, The SoCleans, will be glad to be your opening act.

Unless, of course, you want my country-karaoke band, Distilled Waters. (They've been struggling in a saturated market.)

Everyone who wants this thread back on topic, please raise your scrub brush.

Because it sure would be a crying shame if this uniquely informative and original thread were to become somehow locked inadvertently.

I cleaned a hose once. I think.
Yeah, I cleaned the first hose I ever had, (because it was used) and decided that was one time too many... I'm now on my second hose after 12 years, and contemplating getting another one.

So much less waste.

I wouldn't get a new hose after 12 years of use and no cleaning. Your lungs are probably used to 12 years of mold in the hose, perfect environment for mold to grow, nice and moist and cozy and warm.
Nah...keep the hose...too risky to change (OR CLEAN) it now.!

!) I didn't say I've used the same hose for 12 years, do you have other problems with reading comprehension?
2) .... there's no mold in my hose.
3) you started off fairy good other than your arrogance, but you've gone downhill fast.

The folly of using SoClean has been documented in the forum many times. One example - viewtopic.php?f=1&t=181983

And it was always done without recommending a wasteful and unnecessary "sanitizing" routine.

I hate being the one to bring this thread back on track, but most of us here agree that we clean/don't clean and/or sanitize/not sanitize to what ever level we are comfortable with. When I first started treatment, I cleaned everything weekly as I was instructed. After noticing several small holes in my hose, I decided I didn't need to clean it every week. The only time I ever clean the hose now is after a bout of bronchitis, and that has only happened twice since I stopped cleaning my hose over six years ago and I am still using the same hose. I am a firm believer in only changing thing when they are no longer functional and cleaning only to the level I am comfortable with. Anything else is a waste of time and money.

I thank you for trying to fix the derailing. :D
I would hate to have to lock a thread about cleaning stuff.

Please...lets cease and desist with the snide snarky remarks. They are NOT helpful....and irritate the hell out of me.
It's a free country last I looked and looking down one's nose just because someone doesn't do things the way YOU do them doesn't mean a damn thing.

Do what I do....eye ball roll but keep my mouth shut when someone doesn't do what I do or don't do.
My choice, my body, my money...and all that.
