The replacement schedule for the Brevida cushion is half a month. However, my experience is that the cushions last a long time and don't need to be replaced very often.
What are other's experience with the life of the Brevida cushion?

Re: How long does Brevida cushion last?
People should replace based on need ...not based on a calendar. The replacement schedule is set by the people that sell supplies. The more often you replace, the better for them $$$$$$.

Re: How long does Brevida cushion last?
I never used the Brevida cushion all that long but all the nasal cushion and nasal pillow masks suggest a 2 week lifespan.
When I was using the P10 and before that the Swift FX....I routinely got months and months of life out of the nasal pillow and usually they got retired more from looking yucky than from them not doing their job.
I think the longest I used one was 10 months and retired it because of the yuck factor....way dingy yellow...and it was still sealing just fine.
I do think that with just a bit of common sense care all this stuff will last a LOT longer than the "recommended replacement time frame". It's not like they just up and fall apart at 3 weeks.
Used to I would "stock up" on nasal pillows when I would change to a new model mask....eventually I learned that I really only need a couple of spares in case the dog ate one (I had that happen once) and there was no need for me to go buy a bulk supply off EBay of a dozen spares. Took me forever to give away the stock pile of something when I would change to a new kind of mask.

Re: How long does Brevida cushion last?
I agree completely! I was just wondering how long Brevida cushions lasted for others, and whether anyone sees a performance change with time. I'm not sure how old my current cushion is -- several months at least. (I usually write date of first use on the cushion, but the CPAP wipes I use removed the date.)

Re: How long does Brevida cushion last?
I use the Dreamware FF mask and have been getting 3 months per cushion. If I didn't have a replacement, I could probably go longer.

Re: How long does Brevida cushion last?
I was out of the country and am just catching up, hence the late reply.
I am apparently the outlier as far as cushion longevity. Before the Bleep came out, I kept trying different nasal pillows trying to find one that worked, but the ones that worked least poorly for me (It was a struggle!) were the Brevida and the Nuance Pro. I really could not get much more than 2 weeks from either. By that time, I was having enough leakage that it was impacting my AHI (and my poor eyes!), which was resolved by changing to a new pillow. DH couldn't understand as he goes many, many months with the same P10 pillow! I think it truly is a case of YMMV.
