Central Apneas

Post by Eddi » Tue Apr 19, 2022 7:41 am

Hi,

Is there a way to stop the recording of CAs? I know I can unclick it in Oscar but it would seem the machine, Resmed Airsense 10, will still record them. I have unclicked them in Oscar but the figure still shows. I have yet to see if it will record tonight.

The reason I want to is , as my consultant explained to me, the CAs are likely arousals and I believe he is right. I have been studying them and they coincide with me waking up but not completely. This morning the post person woke me partially as the dogs barked and my husband got up to take the parcel (an F30 in small).

These CAs increase my AHI score by a lot so I'd prefer not to record them but I am guessing that I can get Oscar not to show them in the graph but will not be able to stop the machine recording them?

Thank you kindly for any input.

No, there is no way, why do you even care? it doesn't matter, just ignore them, or mentally subtract them from the overall AHI.

Get OSCAR

Accounts to put on the foe list: dataq1, clownbell, gearchange, lynninnj, mper!?, DreamDiver, Geer1, almostadoctor, sleepgeek, ajack, stom, mogy, D.H., They often post misleading, timewasting stuff.

Who are you recording the AHI scores for? A day after they happen, they are insignificant. What is important is last night and today.
