How 'religiously' do you watch? I've been waiting for them to fly (fledge) away from the tree all week! But then I'll worry about where they'll go, etc etc.

Been watching for yrs - can't remember, but was it you who told me about them? I now bore others with pix, stories, you name it - never thought I'd learn so much about eagles of all things!

But they're really special, so keep telling everyone.

Julie, I don't think it was me. I've only been watching since just before the eggs were laid. But yea, the next step is soon to come.

I will never forget seeing a golden eagle chasing a coyote away
from an antelope carcass just off the highway near Casper, Wyoming--LIVE.
Or a small group of them diving for fish killed by the turbines at Pathfinder dam.
Gorgeous creatures.

So fledging did indeed happen today - Just before noon today E19, took its first flight from the nest tree, officially fledging at 82 days old.
Unfortunately the cams are down at the moment but we will keep you posted and hope to have the cams back soon.


Unfortunately, for some reason the site was subject to DOS attack today and streaming is down. Have to wonder if that is the same problem that happens here when you can't login?

The eagles are back and rebuilt a nest after Hurricane Ian destroyed the other nest.
What's more is tonite Harriet laid another egg.
So the watching begins.
