When I got my AirSense 10 AutoSet I think it was 4 years ago, my DME (who unlike so many) is actually great, asked if I planned to run the humidifier tank through the dishwasher. Since I am a bit of a clean freak, I said yes and he GAVE me the dishwasher-safe tank

. Said it was sturdier than the regular. I MAY have run it through ONCE...now, the the tank gets rinsed and wiped out with as hot water as I can stand maybe once a week and just soap & water occasionally. Still the original tank.

What tank is what??
I just got my new CPAP machine - A nice new shiny ResMed AirSense 10 w/0 hours on it!! Woo Hoo!!
Anyways, the new machine did not come with an SD card (which I expected) and a newer flavor of water tank with a round heating plate bottom.
Both said "Distilled Water Only" on them.
Does anyone know the difference in these tanks?
The tank on the right in the first pic is my 5-6 year old original tank - the brown spot is from when it ran out of water the 1st night!
The newer tank seems much lighter and the plastic does not feel as thick...makes me wonder if this newer tank is prone to leaking as opposed to my 5-6 year original battle hardened tank (no pun intended)

Does anyone know where to buy the new circular water chamber onlin.
Both Amazon.com and CPAP.com are selling the one with the square.
Any help would be appreciated.
