My Resmed has an obsolete CDMA modem, which doesn't work. It did not adjust for DST. I also need to adjust the time every month or so.
Working CDMA or the later working modem doesn't have anything to do with adjusting for DST or not.
ResMed machines simply don't adjust the time automatically. There's a clock in the machine that we have to manually adjust to our local time.

If you are having to adjust the clock frequently because the clock time is off...then the internal clock is showing its age.
Or possibly the internal battery is showing its age.
Usually the battery is failing. You might keep the machine plugged in to electricity as much as possible to see if that helps or not.

If you are concerned about energy use during standby mode,
you might want to invest in a Killawatt meter, and educate yourself on the
effects of repeated cold on/off switching.
It makes no sense to save 5 cents of electricity while destroying a $20 component
Standby mode is a design feature that can save energy and equipment.
