In order to get to the settings, a 4 digit PIN code is needed. I suppose my options are to try try all 9999 numbers or contact the DME and ask them what the PIN is.

Has anyone had any luck with that?

The easier way per Dog Slobber
Dog Slobber wrote: To defeat the DreamStation PIN, enter an incorrect PIN 8 times. You'll then be prompted with an option to clear all data and reset the device to factory. You can now reconfigure the device.

But I haven't read of any workaround for the "Care Coordinator" portion of the setup.

First I have heard of a pin number being needed.
Watch this video...I don't think he mentions a pin number.

Please note: If your DreamStation 2 is delivered with a PIN number that locks you out of the Provider Mode, a factory reset will clear it. This removes all data and settings, so users need to know what they are doing to reset the machine pressure to the desired target. Entering an incorrect PIN 8-times brings up a factory reset option.

Yes - There is a PIN number blocking further access to the menus - BUT looky here:

I think I probably need to study this a bit more before I start tinkering with it.

Questions: if the maximum pressure is too low, wouldn't the pressure peg at the maximum for most of the night?
If the minimun is too low, how would you know?

Yes.

The most common result of a too low of a minimum is too many apnea events or clusters of events....either obstructive apneas or hyponeas.

Too many clear airway events or central apneas are usually not related to the minimum and maximum though.

Can you point me to a primer on interpreting OSCAR graphs?
