Instead of ozium, put a little vodka on a cotton ball.
Mythbusters used vodka to remove skunk spray.
Not kidding, I was JUST using a cottonball soaked in everclear (95%) but got a little scared about causing damage as it's supposed to be very harsh on silicone.

Huh?
When I have no baby wipes, I use alcohol wipes on my mask--no damage.

I don't know where you heard that, but silicone isn't affected by alcohol.

Considering the markup on "cpap" wipes,
I have a suspicion where the rumor got started.
Money always gets in the way of the TRUTH.

Update: bleep hose sprung a leak in the middle of the night. Otherwise it wasn’t all that bad! Can’t use it again until I get a replacement…

yup, take anything and slap CPAP on it, and treble (or more) the price.

Where is it leaking at in the hose? If hose gets torn duct tape can be used in a pinch.

A couple of inches from the nose-end. Does the bleep have any counterfeits? Wondering if the seller on Amazon is a copycat… the hose seems slightly crinkly between the harder portions that jut out.

No copycats as far as I know. I wouldn't think it would be cost effective for someone to try to copy the product.
Send Stuart a note about the problem. I have abused the hose many times and never had it tear.
Send him an email with your contact information....include your phone number.
At this link look up in the right corner where you see 3 little horizontal lines just to the right of "where to buy" and click on the 3 little lines and you should get a menu that includes "contact us" where it offers email.

In the meantime duct tape or similar product would probably keep things together well enough.

Half a bottle and no skunk spray don't bother me.

Replacement Bleep is leaking before I even used it

I suppose this 'mask' isn't meant to be. I did reach out to the support, though not long enough ago to have received a reply.

If it is leaking there is a problem with the connection somewhere. When put together properly it doesn't leak.

New one has a crack on the ball and socket end, first one has the tube itself leaking. Checked them both with the nose end removed -I will say that I’m not 100% sure how to make the ball and socket end seal well. It’s a really minor leak on the new hose that I thought was worse because I gave the socket some slack.
@Pugsy is there anywhere else I should be checking the connection on? That ball and socket didn’t bother me the night I used it -will probably duct tape the new one since it’s a really minor crack.

Until you get the warranty replacement,
use the new hose with the old ball and socket.
The hose can be easily pulled off that connector.

Finally got ahold of an SD card and I'll be honest: looking at my AHI alone without the SD I've been testing sleeping with and without the machine and little variables here and there. Right now sleeping with the machine is definitely making me feel worse -at some point in the night the pressure gets to a point where it wakes me up and I end up taking it off and am able to stay asleep (usually just the last couple of hours). I'm a little out of it today, need some time for medication to kick in and to get something in my system before I can read this data well, but I think I need to go in for a sleep test...
