i don't find disconnecting the short hose all that difficult. certainly not a hundred bucks worth of "difficult".
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Aside from a short learning curve, I have had no problems with OEM parts for nearly TWELVE YEARS
Not even right after hand surgery.
Those wanting such a device need only wait for the cheap chinese knock-off.
(Coming soon--if sales are encouraging)

Not all masks have a short hose.

I just remove my mask when I need to. But also, I wouldn't want any added weight on my mask.

But But But... it says "CPAP" on it, that means one HAS to triple the price.

Just like every other ordinary thing that someone took and put 'CPAP' on, baby wipes? cheap, CPAP wipes? $$$

"resplabs" cpap mask cleaning wipe: $0.090818182 each

Kirkland baby wipes: $0.022211111

Based on 110 for 9.99 at amazon, vs 900 for 19.99 at Costco.

ok, more than 3x the price.

i'm curious. is there no way to install one?

So it can be done if someone wants a short hose from the long hose to the mask...and relatively cheap.

Not exactly a "short" hose depending on how you look at it but one could add the SleepWeaver FeatherWeight hose at the end of the long hose and DIY your own "short hose". About 15 bucks plus whatever shipping.

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/circad ... -cpap-tube

I would do 15 bucks long before I would do 100 bucks for magnets.

And yes...that FW hose has a male and female end so it will fit and no other adapters will be needed.

That sleepweaver featherweight is a blessing.
I have two; and I am always ready to add a short hose to masks that have none.

So two scenarios:

Will those magnets give us cancer like some claim 5g, cell phones, electrical power lines, telemetry of hydro meters. portable home phones etc.

Or will it cure OSA like magnets placed on strained muscles or those healing electromagnetic wrist bangles. So if it can claim to cure OSA sign me up!!

It's said they make great refrigerator magnets. Or glue one on your bike helmet, and you can quickly attach/remove your helmet light.

Yes, I saw a YouTube video about the magnet set. They make it look pretty cool. There is a magnetic thing one attaches to a bedside table so that when the CPAP is not in use, the magnetic end of the hose sticks to the bedside table. Keeps the set up neat and clean. But $100? Will wait for the knock-off.
