OSCAR and chromebook

Post by Hawthorne36 » Sun Jan 16, 2022 2:13 pm

I posted before about this subject and was told that I could install OSCAR on a chromebook. I was told I need LINUX, which I installed. I just keep getting an error message when I try to install OSCAR. Any help? Thanks!

Oscar / Sleepyhead did not work with Linux in the past, but the Oscar team did a lot of work to ensure compatibility with Chromebooks and other computers running Linux. Be sure to read the instructions to get a clean installation.
Oscar has always worked on Linux (Ubunto) and SleepyHead has supported Linux well before Oscar.

The Oscar team has expanded the number of Linux distros it works with, and added support for Chromebooks and Raspberry Pi.

what linux distro are you using?
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

The error message is long and I can't figure it out.
I don't know what Linux distro I'm using.
I can't seem to make any sense out of the instructions! I had a student come in who knows lots more about computers than I do and she couldn't get it to install. She doesn't know chromebooks.

There are two different versions of OSCAR for Chromebook on the official download page. One for arm64 and one for amd64
Double check and make sure you have the correct version for your Chromebook.
MacbookAir (Intel) macOS Monterey (12.6.8)
OSCAR 1.5.1
Resmed S10 Autoset w/heated hose
F30 Mask
Pressure 9-14
