Fyi....if you are talking about the hard white tube, that gets stuck inside the end of the heated tube, so just the clear plastic inch tube with holes in it attached to the mask is showing. Not sure I would want to put a cozie on the clear plastic inch tube attached to the mask, nothing on padacheek has that covered??

(Edited as I missed the mask type in my original post)

The Dreamwear nasal cushion has the hose bib at the top. There is no short tube like a ResMed P10 has as the connection to the tube. You would just want a hose cover of some sort like from Padacheek to cover the hose from the machine to the mask.

It's been a long time since I have had my hands on the DreamWear....does the heated hose attach to the mask at the top of the head or is there a short hose in between?
I thought there was a short hose in between.
If there isn't...nothing to put a hose cozy on. Sorry.
If that's the case then that isn't a potential workable option.
A lot of the nasal masks have a little short hose that comes from the end of the heated hose to the actual mask on the face.

I am using the Dreamwear nasal mask, the heated hose attaches to the mask at the top of the head. There is no short tube. I really like the mask I have though because I toss and turn so I like the hose out the top of my head instead of out my nose.

I did talk to an individual from CPAP.com and they absolutely do not recommend a hose cover for the ResMed ClimateLine Air Heated CPAP hose. Its a fubar mess lol.

Well actually it can be done...the hose cozy over the heated hose (I have one myself) but it's redundant to use with the heated hose. All it does is maybe let a person use less electricity to maintain whatever hose air temp someone selects.
So it can be done but isn't really all that beneficial in terms of actually creating more warmth where none existed before.
Hose cozies to create warmth are for non heated hoses....either the long hose or any short hoses that some masks come with.
That said...some people just hate the feel of the plastic of the heated hose and some people opt for a hose cozy on a heated hose just to eliminate the feel of the plastic or the noise of the plastic rubbing on something.

Note I was advising hose cover for a non heated hose going from your heated hose to your mask.
I thought your mask had a short hose. I was wrong.

Question for you...when you get the condensation is it happening in the mask or in the long hose?

It depends on what setting I use, sometimes its the mask and other times it's the mask and tube. I tried 5 humidity and 79 tube temp for 2 hours, no rainout in tube but the little plastic clear thing at the top of the head is foggy. I cannot go any higher in humidity or I am going to have to go into the 80s with tube temp, I really can't breathe at that point, heart jumps out of my chest and I am constantly lifting my nasal cushion to get air. So, I know it's gotta be 5. I do have mask cushions if it's only in the mask, I need to see what a full night with 5, 79 does though. It's definitely a struggle but once I find the right balance, I'm set and never going to change it lol. 5 and 79, I do feel a little congested still because my nose is just not used to forced air like that, to compensate for that, I am just going to have to usr my neti pot daily in the AM, it's a mess, but that's the only thing I know at this point to do.
