I have always used distilled water
Read the label on the bottle. Make sure it doesn't say "Minerals Added for flavor" on it.
If there's "minerals added" then it's not *distilled water* anymore.

Was there supposed to be a photo of the bottle/container of Baby Nursery Water?

Wow...Maybe that "Baby Nursery Water" should be submitted to so some health agency for testing.

Based upon what it looks like after a couple of days, I wouldn't want to be using that water to provide to a infant.

...wait, maybe that explains the color of baby poo!

My machine is a Air Sense 10 and all I clean with is mild soap no abrasive cleaners. It's not actually rust just the color of rust however it does clean off. Mabe bacteria or ? I rinse it out daily and clean with soap weekly. Thanks for your replies
I too have an Air Sense 10. I've been using the same tank for 5 years!
I only use distilled water in it. Occasionally when on the road, I'll use drinking water or tap water if none is available.
I just top off the tank each night.
Once a month or so, when the water looks a little cloudy, I'll give it a good wash with soap and water.

The bacteria I do get in it...is generally pink in color, based upon the color the Q-tips turn when I wipe in the corners/edges.

Last month, my kid had some of those effervescent cleaning tables lying around, that they use for soaking their retainer in...and I used one to soak the tank with, for about 15 mins. It actually cleaned it well, and had a nice "minty" smell afterwards!

What's in that distilled water you use? What brand? I just use Kroger's brand - For some reason, Wal-Marts distilled water produces bacteria quicker than Krogers does.
I have no love for Walmart but in their defense, I've been using Wally's distilled water for nearly 10 years and I've NEVER had any sort of issue with it, ZERO.

Once you can actually see the cloudy water it means that you've had stuff growing in there for some time before it becomes visible. You want to breathe that stuff? Not me...

YMMV

I don't expect you are willing to admit that you learned something.

seriously? why the &%#@ would they do that?

i mean, wouldn't that just make it drinking water?
Seriously

well, that may jolly well be the dumbest thing i'll read on the internet today.

mind you, not saying YOU are dumb; just the whole concept of putting minerals back in IS.

I certainly agree. I think it happens more often than we realize too.
Maybe this should be a sticky?

Are infants really that sensitive to the taste of water?

I'll not go into all the unnecessary garbage that has been added to baby food, etc.
Hopefully, they are/have been fixing that.
I WOULD check the expiration date on that jug of "baby" water.
I imagine that it is not as "hot" an item in some places as others.
I also have my doubts about Wally world's dedication to freshness vs profit.
