A week ago I posted about the success I had trying Azazar X-style mouth tape. After a few days of success I found the tape was not sufficiently adhering and I returned my purchase.
I then purchased 3M Micropore 2” wide tape with a dispenser. Each roll is 10 yards. This tape has excellent all night adhesion and never moves. I use lip balm on my lips before applying a piece of tape approximately 1.75” long x 2” wide. Amazon had a 6 pack for $32 Cdn which will last me 3 years which is a great deal.
My AHI results have been amazing, lowest was 1.0 and all below 2.0 Previous to using mouth tape I was consistently mid to high teens for AHI. My Mask Fit is now around 90%.
As noted in my previous post I am a chronic mouth breather and I use a Quattro Air full face mask with a Phillips DreamStation Auto BiPAP, now going on 6 years.
The serrated edge dispenser works perfectly and is very handy. Removing the tape is not overly difficult but trust me it adheres well. There is no glue residue left on my face afterwards.
Another huge advantage is NO Dry Mouth which I suffered prior to using the tape.
It was remarkably easy to adapt to having my mouth taped.

Good for you!
I wonder how that compares to 3M Nexcare™ Strong Hold Pain-Free Removal Tape? Maybe someone here has tried both?

You might find the 3M micropore cheaper on Ebay.
