Thanks Zonker, but I am getting the message “OSCAR” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware. I ran it through Avast, but still no luck.

Two days at 15/20.
Some side effects of increased mask leak, dry mouth and water tub empty in the morning.
As well, concern into AHI numbers. Oscar says Resmed data does not include sessions yet I get sessions. Most recent data has AHI of 5.47 and 4.7 in the two sessions for the night. Machine is reporting 6.7. I don't see a way to combine the sessions. It is odd how those two sessions can combine into 6.7. Having sessions makes your reviews harder IMO.

FYI, there has been some discussion on my EPR, which is at 3.

Results are not showing any significant improvement over the original pressure settings we started with a few weeks ago.

Please start your own thread.

Tell your OS to let you install the program, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just macOS trying to keep you from doing what you want to do.

Ctrl-click the OSCAR installer, MacOS will then present an option to open it.

So long as you downloaded OSCAR from it's proper download location, you're good.

https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

The error message doesn't mean (or even suggest) OSCAR contains any malware, it means (because the app is unsigned) the developer is unknown.

I have no idea who you are, therefore I can't verify you are not an axe-murderer.

how is this even fair for axe murderers with sleep apnea?

Thanks Dog Slobber. I have downloaded and installed Oscar. Re importing data, is this only via SD card. I am using a ResMed machine, so I get pdf reports which I assume are not a format that Oscar can work with.

probably be a good time for you to start your own thread.

Sleepdeep, I think it’s time for some EPR. I’d be inclined to leave your minimum at 15 and introduce EPR at 2, if Palerider concurs. My guess is that the EPR will do a fair amount of work for you in reducing the number of hypopneas you’re having. So even though your EPAP will be down by 2, you might still see improvement. An experiment worth trying?

Thank you. I shall adjust and report back in a few days.

Interesting to note I had Ramp off and EPR to Ramp Only. So I am assuming there was no EPR previously as those two kind of cancel each other.
Now adjusted to Ramp off and EPR of 2 to Full Time.

Pressure unchanged for 3 days @ 15 / 18 and the EPR setting adjusted and at 2. A big reduction to the number of events, especially Hypopnea.
I don't know what to think about the Oscar AHI numbers being 0.90 and 0.91 for the two sessions. The machine is reporting AHI of 5.9 for this night. How can there be such a discrepancy? Which one should I be guided by?

What does the machine report for hours of use for this/last night?

You are talking about the sleep report from last night and not the numbers you can get if you go into the setup menu area to see the results????
The numbers shown when you go into the setup menu area are a 30 day average unless you set the reporting parameters for something less.

Trust Oscar, you can zoom in and look at the breathing if you want.

As Pugsy said, check to make sure that the machine isn't reporting it's default 30 day average.

Nice to see the improvement in flow limitations and hypopneas. You might now want to try EPR of 3. No need to change your pressure settings, I think. We can just see how it goes.

Thanks Miss Emerita! I shall move EPR to 3.
