Can I use antibacterial soap on humidifier
Can I use antibacterial soap on humidifier
I know not to use it on the mask. But can I use it to clean my humidifier?
Re: Can I use antibacterial soap on humidifier
Are you talking about the plastic water chamber that stores water???
If so, yes.
If so, yes.

Yeah. With metal plate at bottom. Thanks.

Soap is soap..the purpose is to clean. Brand or type doesn't matter. Why wouldn't you just use what ever you use for dishes?

Re: Can I use antibacterial soap on humidifier
Don't know if it will damage it since resmed cleaning guide says use mild soap so thought I'd ask.
Re: Can I use antibacterial soap on humidifier
"mild soap" is a vague and undefined term.
If the soap doesn't harm your skin while it's being used on your dishes, it should be "mild" enough for these purposes. I've used unscented Dawn for *years* without any harm, it does a great job of removing oils.

What defines "mild", anyway?
If you can use it on yourself without getting a reaction--probably close enough.
The idea is that tiny traces left after rinsing do not cause redness and itching.
Since everyone is different, my mild may not be your mild.

Probably best not to use industrial floor stripper on your mask, is what you're saying? (at least, without thorough rinsing)chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 11:10 amWhat defines "mild", anyway?
