There is an auto set option, is that what you meant. I truly am a newby - wish it was an 11 but Iām just happy to get this one.

As Granny mentioned, she hopes you have an AutoSet. Here's why. Under the AirSense 10 umbrella, there are actually four different machines.
AirSense 10 CPAP - discontinued by ResMed but they still exist in the supply chain. One pressure at all times.
AirSense 10 AutoSet - the pressure can change from breath to breath to accomodate your needs. The preferred machine.
AirSense 10 For Her - contains algorithms said to be unique to female breathing. Both men and women can use these.
AirSense 10 Elite - a specialized machine for unique situations.
The experts here can help you best if you specify which machine you have. And post OSCAR charts. And keep EVERYTHING in ONE thread to save them the trouble of researching multiple threads to get a handle on your history.
Keep on keepin' on. You'll get there with time, patience and perseverance.

AirSense 10 Elite - a specialized machine for unique situations.
Nothing special or unique about the Elite. It is essentially a single fixed pressure machine that records exactly what the AutoSet models record in terms of data collection.
It just doesn't have the mode for auto adjusting pressures that the AutoSet models have.
It has only the one mode available....fixed pressure mode.
It is used to treat obstructive sleep apnea just like the AutoSet models.
AirSense 10 CPAP.....single fixed pressure machine but only has very limited data available for review. Generic AHI (doesn't distinguish between centrals or obstructives....generic leak number and pressure number. No detailed data available. Summary numbers only.
I wasn't aware that it had been discontinued at all.
AirSense 10 Elite...single fixed pressure machine that offers full efficacy data for review...detailed graphs available.
AirSense 10 AutoSet....single pressure machine that has 2 modes of operation available...fixed mode or auto adjusting mode....full efficacy data recording. Essentially 2 machines in one.
AirSense 10 AutoSet for Her....Same as the regular AutoSet except it has an additional different auto adjusting mode.
Essentially 3 machines in one.
Nothing special about the Elite. Not aware of any unique situations where it would be "special" for anything.

Actually, no.
The Elite is a simple single pressure machine with data, it's between the CPAP and Autoset.
