New to CPAP an just started to use my new AirSense 11 machine...
I really like the design of this box... Very quiet and does what it is supposed to do...
Running Oscar on a Dell Inspiron 7786 laptop.
Issues I've noticed with 1.3:
1. Upon expanding the timeline for a night; Right clicking does not return to the entire night timeline again. It truncates it to just a couple of hours.
Rebuilding the database allows the entire timeline to be made visible again.
2. Upon closing out Oscar, the computer has crashed and restarted.
3. I had to use the time offset to show the correct time on the timeline.
The computer is set to the proper time zone (Pacific)
Is this normal?

My background is I'm a Electromechanical Medical Device Consultant.
after your situation is addressed, would you be so kind as to post a separate thread with a review of the unit? it's new and not a lot of people have it yet.

thanks!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Sitting in for the BlueDragon... responding here to LarryEH...

1) With regard to zooming in and out, you can select an area, or multiple left clicks will zoom in. To zoom out multiple ESC key taps or right clicks are required to completely zoom out. I don't know if there is a single key stroke to return to the full night display.

2) Obviously, it's not supposed to crash... What operating system are you using? Does it happen all the time?

3) Time handling in the AS11 has changed considerably from earlier machines. Apparently the internal clock is set to GMT, and the user enters their time zone offset... standard or daylight, it can't be changed while there is data stored in the machine. In the near future OSCAR will handle this more gracefully. Right now, using the drift to set a time offset is a workable solution.

1/ Multiple right clicks do step the timeline out, but, hangs up at about the half session point and will not expand further.
2/ Today it did not crash...
I removed the SD card prior to shutting down the app.
I' m using Win10 ver 21H1 build 19043.1288
3/ I'll just continue to use the offset for time now...

New: observation.
Yesterday I tested my 11 with a UPS, as we here in Silicon Valley have been having some power issues with the recent rains.
I was testing things like; effect on machine at cutover, power consumption, projected run time, etc.
That was a couple of hours before bedtime.
However, this morning, the machine had not captured the night's events.
This had happened once before and I contacted my Resmed Rep. He intern contacted Resmed and they logged into my machine and said the data was there.
As I recall, it did show up a day or so later.
Today Oscar showed that I had indeed slept for 7+ hours but there was no detailed data to be seen.
The 11 did not show the 7+ hours of sleep... only the short testing time of a few minutes.
It appears that if you run the machine a short time on/off prior to the actual sleep period, this happens.
I believe this is a software bug in the 11...

I updated Oscar on my MacBook with no difficulty. However, It only entered data from the previous version from October 9 forward? It is not a big deal because I have only been on APAP for five weeks and the first weeks were not good data anyway. I am just curious why it did this.

It turns out that the Airsense 11 will not report a fragmented sleep period immediately.
If there is an awake break, not sure how long qualifies, the 11 reports only the first section upon initial checking.
However, within a few hours, sometimes several hours, it will catch up and report the entire night.
Sometimes the entire night shows up on the 11 screen first and then later on the phone app.
It also writes the total data to the SD card later...

This was confirmed with Resmed...
I still consider this a Firmware Bug...

Or a stupid design decision... We'll have to discover just what is going on. I have a hunch we have people who jump out of bed, pull their SD card and run to their computer to run OSCAR, first thing. They'll lave to learn to have coffee and get dressed, maybe wait until after lunch...

Thanks for the heads up, this is new info

I would fully expect a session not to show up on the phone app for some time. That's the way it has always been with MyAir. MyAir can be delayed by hours, sometimes by days, in showing your data.

I am surprised, and disappointed, if the session data is not written to the SD card immediately.

That is referring to the history of the weight, calculated BMI, and Zombie settings that the user can set at the bottom of the Notes tab on the Daily page. The name "zombie" has been used for a long time and is intended, I think, to refer to how one feels after a night's sleep.

The OSCAR team is looking for DS2 data with the 12mm heated tube (“micro-flexible heated tube”).

This will help us inch forward a bit on the DS2.
If you have this setup Please let BlueDragon know so he can provide you with directions for getting the info to us.

Thanks

Hi - and thanks for what looks like an amazing piece of software.

I purchased a new F&P SleepStyle and am having issues importing data. Whatever directory I select after clicking the Import button with the USB selected - nothing happens. It does not matter which folder I select - nothing gets imported. Reading your replies about F&P importing issues, I copied the USB to a folder on my drive, renamed the 'number' with a letter in front of it, but no-go. I see my USB stick has an ICON directory - is this an issue? I checked the permissions on the copied directory - all have read and write. Mac OS 11.6. I'm quite happy to copy the USB to my drive daily if needed. I also tried to register with the F&P web site, but it seems to be restricted to health-care providers and is asking for a valid customer account number, so also no-go!

Suggestions gratefully appreciated!!!

Thanks

First, are you using OSCAR 1.3.0? Only 1.3.0 supports the SleepStyle.

If you are using 1.3.0, does the serial number of your SleepStyle machine contain any letters? If it is all digits, OSCAR may be incorrectly identifying it as an Icon, and then the icon import code doesn't recognize the data so doesn't import anything. That is fixed for the next release of OSCAR.

If your serial number is all digits, let me know and I will direct you to a download of our latest development version of OSCAR that has a fix to that problem.

If that is not the problem, could you make a zip file of the entire InfoUSB card and upload it to my Dropbox folder. Please include your forum name in the zip file name so we know who the file is from. I'll be able to see if there is anything odd about the data.

Definitely 1.3.0 - just downloaded it.

Yes - the serial does contain some letters as well.

Making zip file now.

Much appreciated!!

In the zip file, the directory above the ICON directory was named "F&P". Is that the way it is on the InfoUSB card? I expect the root directory of the InfoUSB card to have a directory named FPHCARE.

You're absolutely right - the USB stick has the name FPHCare. I renamed it when I copied the files to my drive - but initially I was trying to upload from the USB stick, which was named correctly - and wouldn't you know, as soon as I renamed the folder FPHCARE, I was able to do an import!!

So tomorrow, do I copy everything to the hard drive again? Is there a process which will ignore already-copied data?

Thanks a million!
