On/off button Does Not Work

Post by Jjjug » Tue Sep 28, 2021 7:08 pm

My CPAP machine stop working, rather the start button doesn’t work. I have the older model of ResMed which doesn’t have the start feature that allows you to select Auto Start or whatever. Obviously since there is now a machine shortage, I don’t know what to do! :(

Any chance your machine is the S8 or Spirit model?
If so

Maybe the drive-by decided to get a newer machine . . .

You didn't say what model (though you did say the make). If you can get it to somehow go on, I suggest you leave it on and control it by plugging and unplugging until you can get a new machine.

Simple.........Just use an outlet strip (surge protector) with a toggle switch and you'll be just fine.

About running it off a power strip, once he stops the power to the machine, the machine will stop, obviously. When he turns the power strip back on, the machine will not start until the machine's power-on button is pushed. Since his machine's power-on button doesn't work, ... the machine ain't gonna blow.

I guess that would depend on if the machine was stuck in the on or off mode,

The Start and Stop button are the same button.
Either get it repaired or get a different machine.
