CPAP BATTERIES

When away from a reliable AC power source I always take my old REMSTAR machine, 12VDC powered. If it gets damaged or lost its no big deal.

Can't get much simpler than the Freedom V2 battery. Unplug your Resmed AC adapter from the PAP and plug it into the battery. Plug the included cord into the battery and PAP. No re-plugging needed when the outage hits (just had one Sun night), CPAP keeps on working.

IMO the closest thing you will get to plug n play is to buy the DC cord for your cpap - you will need that no matter what you decide to do.

Then get yourself the battery jump starter of your choosing - this make it easy because it come with the battery, the charger, and the 12V outlet already built into the carry case (already assembled) and some will have other options like a USB charger, and area light, an AC inverter outlet, and/or an air compressor already built into the case.

What could be easier? It's already assembled - all you have to do is charge the battery - which you should do no matter which path you choose.

The problem is it seems that many of the newer jump starters are not coming with the 12V outlet to plug anything into. So start today. Think about getting yourself thru the nite before you worry about getting more than one nite or a week. One step at a time. IF this works for you pick up another jump starter to rotate - charge one while using another.

The biggest thing is getting the correct DC power cord for your cpap.

You silly goose that IS exactly what I've been doing for years now - except with a battery I already had - a jump start battery.

The difference is there are more options on the jump start battery AND I only paid $99 for it. I liked it so much I bought a couple spares.

But yea that's the whole setup there is NO Assembly required and like I said it's plug n play.
