Grumpy48,
I am glad to hear that you are finding that the worst things about the DS2 seem to be the orientation of the machine, which as you point out is easy to "fix", and that your wife doesn't like the color.
It makes me quite hopeful that if/when my husband's System One APAP is finally replaced under the recall that he will be happy with the a DS 2 if that's what he is sent. He's a miser and so far there's no evidence of foam parts contaminating his humidifier tank.
I on the other hand have made the decision to replace my DreamStation 1 BiPAP Auto with a Resmed AirCurve primarily because about about 6 weeks ago I did start noticing foam bits in my humidifier tank and there's been no word from PR on when that machine might be replaced.

Just saw this thread. Just posted separately on receipt of replacement DS1s that appear to be new, not refurbished. See post via link below

This thread has gone cold but I thought it was worth a post. I received my replacement for my Dreamstation in December (a new Dreamstation 2 Auto CPAP) but am still waiting on my Dreamstation Go. The portal tells me that I will receive it from my DME which is CPAP.com. In December I spoke to a Cpap.com rep who told me they were not distributing machines and that the Dreamstation Go would be coming directly from Philips.
Has anyone out there received a replacement for a Go machine? Does anyone have any ideas how to move this process along? I've been using a Resmed travel machine but the lack of a water tank for humidification and the air noise the unit makes through the hose just below the mask is annoying, and I would like to use the Philips unit. Many thanks if anyone can be of help

Have you checked the Patient Portal to view the status of your machine?
https://www.philipspatientportal.expertinquiry.com/
You can also try calling the number setup for the recall 877-907-7508 and check on the status.

Yes to the portal check--still saying DME will provide machine when they get it. Haven't tried the phone number yet.

I have not heard of anyone in the USA receiving a replacement DS_GO yet. One of the Apnea boards had a post from someone in Australia who received a full refund for the Go after they tried to first give him a DS2 instead. One person in Australia posted on Facebook that they received a new replacement DS-GO manufactured in Sept 2022 so hopefully you will see one soon. I would call and try to get them to tell you how much longer you have to wait.

I too am waiting on my replacement DreamStation Go. Portal say my DME will get it but DME says that is incorrect and it will come from Philips as they sent Philips all the information. I have called Philips with no luck getting any information. Would be nice if there were some decent communications that sets a reasonable expectation. 2 years is a long time to wait for a replacement.

I have a Dreamstation Go and was told the same thing by CPAP.com…that replacement machines would come from Philips, not CPAP.com…I then contacted Philips and was told I was next up to get a replacement machine but that was back in the October timeframe. I called back again a few weeks ago and they told me that I should check with my DME provider since it would be coming from them. I think she was just lazily looking me up on their registration portal though. I explained that it was through CPAP.com and everything I was told the last time I had called. She then connected me (after a 30 minute hold) to the department that handles the replacement machine distribution where I had to explain the whole thing all over again. He didn’t want my confirmation number but rather my “ticket number” or my machine’s serial number. Told him I didn’t have a ticket number and gave him my serial number. I was then placed on hold and got disconnected after 10 minutes. Thanks Philips! I haven’t tried to call back again yet.
