Sleep Apnea surgery

Post by deepjyoti » Sat Sep 04, 2021 1:20 pm

I am diagnosed with severe sleep apnea at level of 62. Also, my endoscopy says "ONCENTRIC COLLAPSE AT VELOPHARYNX", "COLLAPSE AT NASOPHARYNX".
And I am suggested to have surgery for debulking the back of my tongue through TRANSORAL ROBOIC SURGERY. Has anyone gone through the surgery? If so, what were the after effects, is it helpful in reducing sleep apnea? Please help

Did you not read all the replies to your original post of Aug. 19? It might be a good idea - lots of responses.

Insanity is asking the same question three weeks later, expecting a different answer.
Google "Empty nose syndrome".
Negative outcomes are more likely than they will tell you--and permanent.
