Poison pen letter--(paper impaled on a poison dart.)
Fun fact: when poison dart frogs are kept in a zoo, they lose their toxicity.

The bullfrog found my CMS50E pulse-ox; which was "hiding" for way too long.
It apparently charges, and the LED lights up--but the screen does not come on.
I guess I need to go shopping. --after the football game.
I can make do without recording or bluetooth--even a generic cheapie.
Any suggestions ? Recommendations?
Bullfrog wants to try fixing it, so I figure it's toast.

Edit: Sunday, 11/21: I bought a Dr Talbot's at T5arget--$26.95,
Not bad--the display orients automatically.
All I really need is a spot check--not overnight recording.

Final (scheduled) chemo is on Friday.
Some of my hair is growing in, though smooth spots abound.
It matches the pattern I gave my sons through DNA--but mine is not as permanent.
I have a half inch long wisp over my left ear, and the stubble on top is lying down.
I am such a pretty sight.

I am wishing you God's blessings. Each day is a victory. Keep pressing on, my friend.
The docs found the cancer early which is a good thing.
My wife is Stage 4 colon cancer, however, she is doing much better since a second opinion from Johns Hopkins.
Resmed Airsense 10 For Her set on the For Her mode.

Yes, bring your CPAP. I hope it's not one of recalled ones!

BTW, if you used a recalled CPAP, don't dismiss the possibility that this was the cause!

In any case, I wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Blaming whatever will not address the real problem--getting well.
It is unlikely to help financially, because the ambulance chasers have that all sewn up.
I am counting on the great wheel of karma coming around and crushing the lot of them.

Finished the sixth chemo today.--I have another scheduled in 2 weeks;
and a tentative date reserved for Dec. 23rd. Hopefully done THEN . . .
This latest one left me needing a good rest this afternoon--
but not sleepy enough to nap--(but I will tuck in earlier tonight.)
A couple hours helped me to get normal enough to catch my
blood sugar when it was just rising to ugly number 216-
-(injected 17 units novolog) around 7:36,
and sugar was 199 a half hour later, and still dropping gradually.
Yes, I am in control now. I hope . . .
Hungry--going to briefly nuke some cheese curds to restore the squeak,
and crisp up a couple thin slices of BACON.
Good time for a nice wedge of iceberg lettuce, too.

Maybe the romaine is still OK . . . Aldi romaine has surprising shelf life--
but I am thinking about that cold, wet CRUNCH in iceberg.
A bite of lettuce, a bite of bacon. And squeaky cheese.
Sometimes it's more about the mouth than the gut. Especially today.

Just thought I'd chime in and wish you well. As a recovered cancer patient I've got an idea of what you might be going through. Fortunately, no chemo required for me - just external beam radiation. The best thing I did was have a belief in the process and I'm now clear. I'm wishing the same thing for you.

Thank you.
Six years ago, my breast cancer was eradicated with simultaneous surgery
and reconstruction. This time, it is all chemo, since I chose to avoid radiation.

Well, my eyebrows were looking very sparse.
Luckily, I found my light colored brow pencil.
Nice paint job, if I say so myself.
Probably my best feature, so glad to get reinforcements.
I remember having to pluck like heck to split the unibrow.
Freda Kahlo is not my look.
