Well, the rx we received was no better than the first. They listed all the mask types, but still included all the frequency and quantity restrictions, and they added "this prescription applies to masks purchased on his own, without going through medicare". I specifically stated that we did not want the restrictions as we want to be able to try as many masks as we want now so he can quickly see what he likes best.
Probably better to just go through his primary at this point.
Thanks for the reminder about making payments and waiting for refunds. We learned that lesson already this year with his CT scan. I don't pay anything now until I see that the charges match what's shown on his medicare summary online.

What a jerk. After the face to face within 90 days is over with you don't ever have to deal with them again unless you want to.
His primary care doctor can order anything that is needed....if he is willing to do it. Some will and some won't. Most are more than happy to help out.
Especially if the patient is doing well with no complaints and all they want is some sort of mask or other accessory.
That's what my PCP does...last visit she asked me how I was doing with my sleep apnea and I told her great, no problems...so she said "good, if I see a request for something cpap related I can just go ahead and okay it"...and I said yep.
Not that I have really needed anything since most of my stuff I buy out of pocket anyway.
Even if you end up with a new RX needed in 12 months....the PCP can write that as well.
At that time you can have him not put any time restrictions on it.

I could not deal with those asshats. And I would tell them.

Unfortunately, they are out there.
What I tend to do (when you are ready) is cancel the day before just be within(outside) their cancellation window so you can't be charged.
Should you decide to look for another, word of mouth may be best but lacking that you can look for any specialty here just check the reviews.
