Help with CPAP Therapy - SleepyPrince !!!

Hello folks,

This is my first year of CPAP use in allergy season. I'm very allergic to pollen and medications helps a bit, but most of the time I feel terrible.

For the last one week, my events skyrocketed and I'm getting day time tiredness as well after many months. I always used to have 2-4 AHI but now its uncontrollable.

Is this common for CPAP users during allergy season? Do I need to talk to my sleep doctor about this? Any comments or suggestions are appreciated. TIA

How's your overall sleep quality? Waking often? If so, why?

What meds are you currently taking? Include OTC and any nasal sprays as well?

Your machine obviously wants to go higher but it can't. BUT....if it is wanting to go higher because it is trying to fix really bad nasal congestion (which will show up on the FL graph) then it is chasing its tail because FLs caused by nasal congestion can't be fixed with more pressure anyway.
Flow Limitations are one of the primary pressure drivers but unfortunately the machine cannot distinguish between airway flow limitations and nasal congestion limitations....so it tries to kill them all.

Are you spending much time awake with mask and machine on?

Get evaluated and treated by an ENT.

Thanks, I just take OTC CVS allergy tablets for allergies. Sleep quality wise I think I have had better days. I wake up a couple of times a night, but usually adjust the masks or turn around and sleep again.

But my morning time sleepiness happens quite regularly this week & also feel nasal congestion all the time.

Thanks, I think my sinus is getting bad and I feel congestated . I felt normal after my Septoplasty last December but I think I have to get in touch with an ENT asap.
