That screen image is better. Thank you.

I don't worry about leak numbers as a primary thing. I worry about leaks (any size) waking me up.
As long as your aren't deep into large leak territory it's not that big of a deal in terms of impact on therapy itself but the impact on sleep quality (staying asleep) might be a much bigger problem.

Primary goal....sleep.

The statistic shown in OSCAR for "time over red line threshold"....it's incorrect when it comes to your Respironics machine reporting.
That statistic is based on a ResMed red line threshold number and it's not suitable for a Respironics report.
While you had some large leaks last night...not 52% of the time was spent in large leak. At the most maybe 10% and I doubt that much.

Let's fix OSCAR so it isn't reporting an incorrect statistic.
Go to Preferences and then cpap tab and change the red line threshold number from 24 to something that is more correct for a Respironics machine. Now Respironics doesn't ever give us a static threshold for the red line because the line varies with pressure variations.
But something around 60 L/min would be a better number to use and still conservative.
Actually I never bother with the time over red line statistic for a Respironics report....I look at the events graph and look for the large leak gray areas because those are what the machine itself is flagging and more important.
While you did have some large leaks....relatively short lived and not deep into large leak territory so not the end of the world.
Certainly not half the night like the statistics are reporting. In this situation the machine data trumps the software calculations data.
So change the number or just turn off that reported statistic and rely on visual examination of the events graph for leak evaluation....or change the number which is the threshold...it's not a perfect solution because the threshold varies as pressure varies but it will at least not scare the be jesus out of someone when they see that statistic..and the statistic is in error.

Hi Pugsy !

Huge thanks for you assistance !

Does this look more useful now ?

Also, what oxymeter is the most common ? I would like to try find one and see what's going on with my oxygen saturation related to sleep, especially while snoring. The doc was very concern about my oxygen levels.

Thanks

Yes. That looks better.

OSCAR is compatible with several overnight pulse oximeters. I would choose one of those. I don't know what might be available in your area but something similar to the CMS 50 F or higher would work and not be horribly expensive.

If I see well, every time a wake up (we can see that based on the big leak), some events happen before the waking up, or I am wrong ?
Since I was being told for 15 years that I'm anxious, nervous etc, I started to believe that.

This is a morning before:

UPDATE: So I got Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset, and F30i mask, and I'll sleep first time with it now. The technician who sold me the Resmed set it to 7-12 pressure, I'll sleep with that and post the results tomorrow so we can see whats going on.

Thanks guys !

I've look for the meaning of this expression with no success. It seems to be exclusive to Serbia.

"Behind God's back" generally refers to something that is far away. This may refer to Isaiah 38:17 which includes the phrase "for thou has cast all my sins behind thy back".

It is very used in Serbian, and I guess all Slavic languages, but I've been seeing it in English as well, hence why I used it. And simple googling gave me results that people understand the meaning behind it, even Urban Dictionary has the phrase explanation:

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define. ... ods%20back

https://forum.wordreference.com/threads ... y.3507207/

I am aware that my English language constructions are not perfect, however, I am not a native English speaker, but I do work and communicate with people in English on daily basis, but heck why should I justify myself ? I don't think this boards topic is about English grammar and phrases. If my poor language skills are giving you some kind of discomfort feel free to block my posts, or just ignore it.

I know that written words could be misunderstood, and I hope I am wrong, but there's no reason to be mocked or to pull any nationality card, I don't care if a person is American, English, Irish, Australian, Chinese or Bantu born in English speaking region or wherever, as long as I can communicate with the person...

I hope that I interpreted this wrong, and that your comment was simply "academic".

Cheers

The interest is more than academic. The relationship of people to God is a spiritual pursuit.

Yes, you interpreted it wrongly and went on an unattractive rant adding things that weren't under discussion. Hopefully, a few months of good CPAP therapy will steady your nerves.

BTW, none of the six people who responded to that thread had ever heard the phrase.

Nobody suggested you should justify yourself.

How do you say overdramatic in Serbian?

But you most certainly have "godforsaken place" term in English.

When I speak to non-native Serbian speaker, I don't mock them for their lack of proper constructions, actually it sounds funny when someone says something goofy.

So this board topics beside Sleep Apnea are "English Language and Grammar, Spirituality and Relationship to God".

Think whatever you want guys , but it's just rude pulling someone nationality for their lack of verbal skills, I never called anyone nationality out, actually I don't really care, there was a better way to ask what I wanted to say if you didn't understand.

Also if someone got offended by something I said, and I didn't have intention to offend the man, I would apologise. But I guess that's just a Serbian way...

I don't think that "Is behind Gods back the expression used in Serbia exclusivley ?" under discussion at all until you mentioned it... So you have to admit that you are the one who went the wrong way with the discussion topic...

I would politely ask the administrators to delete all the comments not related to the topic if possible, I just wanted to ask people for help, and discuss with other fellow cpap users and not arguing about language constructions exclusivity. Thanks

I could probably edit things but I would need permission from not just you to do that sort of editing.
I would need permission from any others involved.
I can make an official statement for further comments to be on topic though per OP request. Sometimes people listen to me but to be honest...most of the time they don't and unless things are getting really ugly I am not allowed to just go removing stuff willy nilly.

My suggestion....drop it and get back on topic. FWIW...I didn't think CG was mocking you or being rude because I too had a similar thought because I wasn't aware of what "behind god's back" alluded to but I didn't think it was worth commenting on and getting things derailed.
I felt like she was asking from an educational stand point because what she said mirrored my thoughts...I was curious as to what it meant.

So folks....let's get back on topic and leave the off topic discussion to PMs or just omit further topic derailing.
Thank you all in advance for muffling the fingers...if you heed my request.
