Equipment Tampering

Multiple times after Midnight pm central time just recently three days I wear CPAP for 1.3 hours then suddenly highest air pressure mass runs and someone's changing remotely my settings.
My equipment is from Regions Hospital and they're refusing to assist with issue.
What should I do since I have no control over a remote device CPAP?
So much pressure going in face mask while seal is tight flush mount to skin with extreme high pressure almost made me stop breathing.
Should I call the police?

Post a graph, this will include your settings.

Then, *if* somebody is tampering with your settings, we will see a change in your settings.

Sometimes, as part of the titratration process, settings are changed, but this should be done with the patients knowledge. I doubt somebody is just arbitrarily messing with your machine.

Regions Hospital?

Are we supposed to guess what country that's in?

Seriously.

Where are you? (Minneapolis, Minnesota?)
What brand/model machine is it?
Nobody is screwing with your machine.
We can help you figure it out.
Please calm down.

For now, maybe try turning on Airplane Mode.

I doubt that someone is sitting around at midnight playing games with your machine. I assume you have an autoset and are a new user.

Exactly. If that fixes things, then it's possible someone has hacked that machine (unlikely, BUT possible).

If that DOESN'T fix it, then mental health care seems necessary.

And how could it be possible that his machine has been hacked?

mental health care . . .
Did you really say that?
I thought you were better than that.

Get the available software and see for sure when the pressure changed and hopefully the machine offers detailed data because there are some very valid (and not illegal) reasons for the machine to be changing pressures all on its own depending on what is going on with your airway.

It would be darn near impossible for someone to be "hacking" the machine in the middle of the night.
Even if the machine supplier is wanting to change the settings they can't do it without a doctor's order and it's not done in the middle of the night when it is done.

Seems more likely to me that they've got a "wide-open" pressure range on apap...like 4 - 20cm, and getting wild swings from low to high pressure with detected apneas than having a cpap machine being hacked or tampered with in real time.

Absolutely!
I had runaway pressures when starting out on APAP, but raised the minimum,
while reducing the maximum; and that "taught" it to behave.
Some say it is OK to leave the max at 20--but that did not work for me.
I guess I just breathe weird.
