I’m really hoping that it could have a better algorithm
What would you like to see in a new algorithm?

haven't looked through all of this yet.

but what jumps out at me is different sized tubing. is this going to be a problem? or just an adapter we'll have to use?

Where do you see different size tubing? I don't see it.

Do you know if that tubing is exclusively for the 11, or does it work for the 10 as well? I'm a new user, and just got my first box of supplies in but haven't had time to go through them. But I did notice at first glance that the tubing looked like that. I plan to look it up this week when I can, but any info you may have would be appreciated!

The tubing only works with the 11. The chip is wider and the connection point won’t fit tubing from the S10

Oh....that's the heated tube connection difference. Typical ResMed...they changed the connection from the S9 to the A10 as well.
S9 heated hoses won't work on the A10s and it doesn't surprise me that A10 heated hoses won't work on the A11s. I do imagine that at the mask end of the heated hose that the connector will be standardized and fit all masks and no adapters will be needed.
Resmed doesn't want you using the A10 heated hose on the A11...they would prefer you to have to buy a new heated hose.

I didn't see a picture of the mask end of that A11 heated hose...but I would assume it is like past heated hoses...fits all masks without adapters being needed.

Looks like ResMed finally decoupled starting and stopping in the SmartStart feature.

Nice.

Basically a faster response time for the times I’m in obstructive apnea. I’m on a setting of 10-13 and it does take a while for it to resolve some of the obstructive events when it needs to jump up from 10 to 11.5.

And what kind of machine do you have? your equipment profile isn't filled in.

i see. they are just talking about connections, not diameter of hose.

still, kind of a d@ck move.

no equipment profile is filled in. it's another loss to the forum that the goodman's apparently don't give a rip about.

so we, if we want to, need to add it to our signatures, as mine is below.

From what I understand, the ResMed 12v to 24v adapter I just bought for my 10 machine will not work with the 11. :(

yeah, i missed the whole 9 to 10 change up thing as i bought after that. i'm sure there are all kinds of things on the 11 changed that i won't like.

i'm on a philips machine now and have ample backups. by the time i'm ready to buy a new machine, there will be plenty of reviews of the 11 AND the dreamstation for me to peruse.

That's the connector for the power supply.

Instantly obsoleting all the dc-dc converters we may own.
