This is a good point, those few days were rainy. The humidity in the bedroom was probably in the upper 50s (I have several humidimeters on the lower level and none on the upper one where the bedroom is, where I rely on the Honeywell thermostat only).

I am comparing to the old Philips which used more water, and most importantly, made me sleep well. The first two nights with the Airsense on Auto, my throat felt dry in the mornings. I have been using CPAP for 10+ years, I have tried it without a humidifier several times, I can tell when the humidity is low.

Last night I set it to 5. It felt just right, not as humid as before.

Resmed must do what its contracts specify.
Local DMEs generally enjoy earliest shipments of new equipment,
probably due to these confidential agreements.
Find a leak, and we could all know.

Is there some sort of reason we don't see this on cpap.com yet? Do the DMEs get a 3 month headstart or is the chip shortage complicating things?

Cpap.com is a DME.

You know what I mean. The kind that take your insurance. Ignoring all that it doesn't answer my question why the online sellers are not listing them yet.

ResMed isn't letting them sell it online yet. I purchased one back in mid-September from a brick and mortar DME in Wisconsin that also has an online presence. When I made the purchase, they said they would ship by the end of the month. Later that day, the listing changed to state that they would start shipping in January. By the end of the day, the listing was removed entirely. The DME has set aside my machine and it is ready to go, but they cannot ship it to me until ResMed says it is okay.

I wouldn't expect it to be available online before January at the earliest.

I'm not sure I see a USB port - if you're referring to the rear view, to the right of the "no MR" sticker, that's the power port I believe.

Nothing quite like making it proprietary.

The power port on the AS11 is ALMOST the same as the AirMini. The electrical connection (the pins in the plug/socket) are identical, and voltage is the same. The body of the plug, and the sockets on the Mini vs 11, differ in how the corners are chamfered.

That chamfering difference prevents the AirMini 20W adapter from being plugged into the AS11. (That's a good thing, since the AS11 needs more power than the 20W adapter can supply.)

But it does allow the AS11's 65W adapter to be plugged into the AirMini. (Which is fine --it only needs 20W, and just won't use the extra capacity of the 65W adapter.)

And that chamfering allows the 65W DC/DC Converter, sold specifically for the AirMini, to plug into the AS11 as well. (I've already used the AirMini 65W DC/DC adapter successfully with the AS11. )

The power ratings of the various adapters, and the design of the plugs/sockets, makes me believe that the AirMini 65W DC/DC Converter was actually designed with both machines in mind. The box, manual, and marketing materials say it is only compatible with the AirMini -- but of course all that stuff was printed and released for sale before the Airsense11 was publicly announced.
