I like the hose cover. It keeps the hose from banging on the headboard as I toss and turn.

Use fleece covers we "made" ourselves. One of these little projects I should have not got into in the first place. Should have bought these on-line.
Let's just say I have some of the most expensive fleece hose covers one could imagine, mostly due to a slight hurried miscalculation in the fabric dept. With the amount left over I think we'll be recovering the Recliner next!

My Daughter made me a dual layer hose cover. The outside layer is bell shaped on the end that goes over the humidifier. It works great.

I voted OTHER because in summer I use a regular slimline hose, with a partial fleece cover from where the tubing is hooked to my headboard (to stop it from banging and making noise) for about 12". In winter I use a climateline with the same fleece cover for the same reason.

Cheers,

I started out covered...made my own cozy, but with some of the issues I've been having lately I've about determined that naked is the best way to go!!

You can say what you want about 'bricks', but the F & P unit I have been using for over 3 years has a great feature. I have never had a drop of moisture in my hose. I have a Resmed S8 Auto that I use to check my data occasionally, but, I love my F & P.

Ambient Tracking Plus
For CPAP users who experience rain-out or condensation forming within the CPAP tubing, Ambient Tracking Plus automatically adjusts the heater plate based on room temperature. The level of humidity depends not only on the humidifier heater settings, but take into account changes in room temperature, mask leaks, or mouth breathing. Use Ambient Tracking to minimize rain-out while maximizing humidification comfort.

I found a blue fuzzy hose cover on Amazon after reading here that it helped prevent rain out and that was before I even got my ASV. I think its more comfy because you can pull it under the covers with you and keep it warmer. I keep mine snugged across my chest. with just enough poked out of the covers to relieve mask stress.

I have two hose covers both made by Snugglehose, one is a 6 ft Camo colored (which my wife hates but I still find it cool!) and a 8 ft blue one that I now am using and goes over the longer hose I bought (she told me that she likes that color a lot better... <sigh>). The machine is on my right so about 2 1/2 feet of the hose comes up over the chest and then coils a little bit on my left side. I never have any rain out since using the hose cover and putting my humidifier on Auto (instead of classic).
