Oldest kid got her second dose of pfizer yesterday. She said her arm was supper heavy feeling. Still can't lift it above waist high. Had chills so bad she thought maybe a seizure, she couldn't stop shaking for about 10 min. Then woke up sweating a short time later. Mild nausea this morning but seems to be over the worst of it. Hubby gets the J & J today that only leaves daughters SO but he is young and healthy.
Edited : nope not done. More nausea and chills. Poor kiddo.

I realized that the vaccine could make me uncomfortable, maybe ill,
but it was a sacrifice I was WILLING to take, because
frankly, my dear, I do give a squat about others.

Was it the recommendation of your PCP that you shouldn't get the vaccination or just your own belief based on your health conditions. My own PCP and his wife contracted COVID back in December. Despite health issues he has, he recovered in a short time. His wife who was much healthier and fairly fit (68) got hit very hard, required hospital treatment and as of mid March was back to work, but only for a couple hours a day due to lingering effects of the virus. If your own PCP firmly recommended to not get the vaccine go with that, he/she should know best, but if only your own belief not to, I would seriously suggest you talk to your doc and make an informed decision based on his recommendation. Substantial health problems would likely make you more at risk from complications (if not death) of contracting COVID, than the risk of being vaccinated and possibly having some bad side effects. Ultimately it is your decision and it could be a roll of the dice life decision you make. Good luck
