Not sure what the point of the question was re CPAP,
We allow OT stuff here and the point of the question was just a discussion between forum members about the vaccine and if anyone has had a chance to get it yet or not. That's all it was and it morphed into a report about side effects once more people had a chance to get the vaccine.

To the anitvaxxer related posts......

It was NOT meant to be a platform for antivaxxer crap....so that discussion needs to stop. If someone doesn't want to take the vaccine then they really don't have a reason to post in this thread because they don't want it. That's fine but stop the crap posts please or else I will remove them. I am getting more than a little tired of that conversation. Each has made their point....so drop it please. No need for further "discussion" about or poking.

Have had both shots. No major reactions with either one.

We are two and one-half weeks past the second Moderna shot. My heart felt thanks to all around the world who helped make the vaccines. I'll take any booster the CDC says is available, gladly! Knowing I won't die on a vent (from Covid anyway) is a relief that is hard to articulate.

Hugging our 7 year old grandson yesterday wasn't bad either. :D

Congrats! :D

We are looking forward to dinner with friends 2 weeks after our second shot. And I have a knitting date planned with another friend. They all have already been vaccinated.

My husband had both of his Pfizer shots, and got just a sore arm with the first shot and a sore arm plus a mild headache with the second. I'm still trying to get mine.

My college aged son has medical conditions that put him at high risk, he is eligible to be vaccinated in 4 short days!
So excited that next spring semester he will be back to in person classes, online just isn’t the same.

My mom is 2 weeks past both doses of Pfizer, no significant side effects for her! After a year spent at home, just going to the grocery store for her felt like an adventure!

Here in CO vacations are expected to open up to the general public in mid April, which means my husband and I are only one month out!

Can’t wait to have family and friends over for dinner once we are all vaccinated, most of all can’t wait for my 20 year old son to have a “normal” college experience!

Who would have thought, just over a year ago, that going to the grocery store or having friends over for dinner would be exciting and something to look forward to?! I can't wait to get my second shot so I can do those things as well...I haven't been to the grocery store since Feb last year! Counting the days

March 21st, I get my first Moderna vaccine, I'm looking forward to it.
March 15th is when people with developmental disabilities between the ages of 16 and 64 could start getting the vaccine here in California.

Hugged my 48 year old son.
Such a bean pole--almost 6 feet tall!
At 4'10", I feel like a Munchkin--purr.

Had Moderna shot #2 on Tuesday midday. Wednesday morning woke up to that "I have a cold coming on feeling" and stayed down for an extra hour, but it got no worse than that. Fever up to 99.5 F for a few afternoons, and aside from those few symptoms good to go it seems.

Heard about the vaccine today possibly helping relieve symptoms for some of the "long haulers". That's unexpected, I'll read up on it this weekend.

There are some good links to the opinions of doctors and infectious disease researchers on Twitter. Long haulers should get vaccinated as soon as possible.
