I asked my sleep doctor shall I not use my CPAP on the night of the surgery. He told me to try it, if not comfortable. I asked the dentist and he said I should wait a few days because of pain and healing. I did not used it an$ I slept well.

cpap is positive pressure not negative pressure.

When having a tooth extraction they want you to avoid negative pressure....that's why the no sucking through a straw or smoking or stuff like that.

I have had 2 extractions while using cpap....with both I used the cpap machine normally and had no problems.

I had a tooth extraction a couple of months ago and I never considered NOT using my CPAP.
Have had other dental work over the years that I've been using CPAP and ALWAYS used it.

The only device that uses suction is the Inspire--but that doesn't work anyway.
