We will probably not hear how the OP's problem was resolved, because, privacy.
More likely, we'll never hear, because ingred just wanted to whine and get sympathy for how terrible CPAP.com is, and didn't find that here.
It is possible, because she did not give any details.
She may have tried to start a thread before being approved.
Or a representative of one of the national chains . . .
Only one post, so, anything is possible.
No...there were some details mentioned in the first account new post but again....this forum isn't the place for that sort of stuff.
We have zero way to verify anything or even do anything about it.
That is why I didn't elect to show the post and immediately referred it to cpap.com owner. The original post is still sitting in queue which is a sort of holding tank for new account posts. It wasn't deleted...If Carolyn wants to approve it...she can and then it will show up.

As everyone knows....we have a holding tank for new account first posts so that we aren't bombarded by spam bots again.
I zapped 3 of them just this morning. You guys never saw them...one for some Droid phone thing and another for phone number look up software and I forget the 3rd one.
Oh...and in case anyone remembers or cares...the Chinese/Korean spam bot for universities still tries about once a month. Dumb ass.
On a rare occasion I even catch the spammers while actually online and I get immediate satisfaction when I ban them and shut off their connection here. That is so much fun. I get to laugh out loud when I hit the ban button and kick them off while they are online.

Wow, snarky much? I'm new to the CPAP world, and I don't have a handle on recommended vendors and such, just yet. I hoped the folks here would have some recommendations, avoids etc. and I thought it appropriate to give some background info to flesh out my reason for asking.

I was not aware that CPAP.com sponsored the forum, and would have avoided biting the hand that feeds me had I known. Sorry for the dustup, I'll go back to lurking now.

Reading is the key to effective lurking.
A general rule of thumb is that national chains are generally untrustworthy.
Local independents are only as good as the people who run them.
Low prices and insurance coverage are rarely seen together.
Guesswork is integral to the system--especially mask fit.
We all do the best we can with what we got.

You're new, so, yes, I am.

Welcome back, I figured you'd probably be one of the drive-by trolls that love to post provocative crap in the forum just to rile people up.

If you want legit recommendations, then, from everything I've ever heard, CPAP.Com *is* legit. I've also bought from DirectHomeMedical.com, and amazon and ebay.

Welcome back. If you stay here, you will find it doesn't take much to set us off. For instance, methods for cleaning CPAP gear - members have lost eyes and fingers over this subject.

Carolyn has reached out to the OP to see what can be done to get the problem sorted out.

 And use of SoClean or ramp or exhale relief wanting to quit cpap or if the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

beat me to the punch
I think that it can help newbies and experienced ones alike here when you go ahead and post anything you have written, Pugsy. I hope you never delete a response you have typed out, even if you see that someone else has already responded similarly. Just sayin'.

I don't mind when people rant against CPAP.com for some perceived issue. It is always gratifying to see how fairly issues are dealt with. I think CPAP.com's reputation speaks for itself, really. They seem to be smart people doing their best with what they do, from what I can tell. More power to them. And I feel that way whether they can afford to keep this forum going indefinitely or not.

Just because a customer is dissatisfied, doesn't necessarily mean it was the fault of the seller.
"The customer is always right" is such utter bullcrap, especially in this day and age when entitled asshats demand totally unreasonable things while chanting that line.

"NO, get out and don't do come back" is the appropriate response to so many of them, they ruin things for the rest of us.
Man, I wish I could use that line at work...

Pugsy. I have meticulously designed an optical learning tool for why this is. I see that PR already answered, but I'm a visual learner, so...*ducks under table*

Cute....hiding under the table isn't going to save your ass. Remember...I, like your wife...watch a lot of the ID channel murder stuff. You can run but you can't hide. Either that or I will get your wife to do my dirty work. I think between the 2 of us we could get away with it pretty easily.

On a different note and more drawn out explanations.... which no one really cares about....
I can't reply to a new account post until it has been officially approved and is showing up on the forum.
So I have to officially approve it....and then go compose a reply if I am going to reply to a new account post. I don't always reply to newly approved posts but in this case I was wanting to. I can usually think and type pretty fast but this time PR beat me to it because I got distracted by something and I forget what it was. PR was online and hopped right on it and beat me to the submit button.

And it is a long standing joke around here that if I get asked any question that I have to write a short novel as a response. It is just something I do. I explain things in WAAAAAYYYY too much detail quite often..... Oh hell, let's face it most of the time. If you asked me if the sun rises in the East and sets in the West I would probably have to explain in detail about "it depends on season and tilt of the earth and not maybe true East or true west" or something like that...when a simple "yes" would be accurate.

Which is why you get a short novel response.
Be glad you didn't get one of my long novel responses. I do those as well.

A quick update. I just want to thank Carolyn from CPAP.com for addressing my complaints. I am not sure how much is appropriate to share, so I will just say that my issues have been resolved. Carolyn has gone above and beyond what I would have ever expected from a company. Thank you.

That's all you need to say.
We don't need the particulars.
If you are now a happy camper then we are also happy for you.

Carolyn is the only person at cpap.com that any of us have any access to...but she happens to be the wife of the owner or probably a co owner...

May I suggest you update your original topic post to reflect this.

Many might stumble across your original post, never read beyond it and then leave thinking there was never a resolution.
