Turning the temperature up didn't work. Room is 71 I turned it up to 81. I'm not really sure a hose cover would work. I didn't know other people had this same problem. I will do some more reading and figure it out. Thank y'all for the help.

No new hose. I haven't checked to see if its the hose too. I mean would there still be water when I get up in morning? I think my husband may have something to check the temperature.

Checked the temperature it showed 91. Not sure if thats correct but that's what it read.

Since I didn't see it mentioned I will just add a quick note: BE CAREFUL not to overfill the water tank. It isn't obvious you've done that until you turn the machine on and the gurgling begins.

Turn the machine on without the mask on your face. It should not gurgle ... you should hear nothing other than the rush of air.

So jacking up the temp all the way to 86 did work. Way too warm on my face though. I'll figure something out. I also notice when my humidifier was off I still had some water in my mask.

Been noticing since I have been shaving my head down closer my mask fits better...or I should say headgear I guess. Haven't noticed any leaks.

Is there an external heat source near your machine?

For example, a baseboard heater, or furnace vent that might be increasing the ambient temperature immediately around your device increasing the humidification.

Do I recall correctly that you had COVID? If so, I'd encourage you to talk with your doctor about any aspect of respiration that seems "off" to you. It's probably nothing, but some caution might be a good idea.

Yes I had covid three months ago. I know have a severe kidney infection that’s not clearing up. Waiting to see if I have to be admitted into the hospital. From the response yours I do not know if I’ll be coming back on here for advice. Y’all have a good one.

This response is completely uncalled for.

I suggest you take a look back through this topic, concentrate on some of the people who spent a great deal of time helping you, advising you on your therapy, encouraged you not to give up when you were about to quit, helped you learn how to use your machine.

Essentially treated you because you didn't have the means or resources on your own.

And while you're looking around take a look at how much you've given back to the community. Nothing. You've taken a lot, but given nothing.

You're a real prize.

But you didn't quit breathing in your sleep or you wouldn't have woken up to write such nice things here!
