I found with the climate hose at first you mentally figure you have to use it regardless and that is not so, I found when rain out at the low settings occur it is usually in the summer months when Humidity is highest(Humidity Gage is reading 65% at the moment- winter 30-35%) in the atmosphere were I live in Northern Alberta Canada. So what I try and do is shut off the Humidifier & drain it then turn heat off to hose and just use it as a regular hose until I start to feel dried out throat feeling and then I start to use the humidifier again on lowest settings. I can turn every thing off on the heated hose side and turn off the humidifier with distilled water in it and next morning tank is down to half just from air passing threw my A10,autoset and wicking off moisture from the tank.
I have to agree on manual settings the climate hose is a lemon possibly or I have not figured it out either.

may i suggest you let this thread die and carry on with the other one.

it's confusing for an old man like me to follow your progress through multiple threads.

thanks!
