OSCAR v 1.2.0 Beta 1
We are testing the newest OSCAR. As usual, we have made quite a few changes.

If you would like to become a Beta tester that would be great. Just PM me and request it.


As usual, we can always use new people to work on OSCAR development. This includes
Coders,
Testers,
and Translators.


We have a major upgrade to OSCARs UI planned, we could certainly use some UI experts.

Translators, sidecar has been translated into many languages. As we make changes these translations need to be updated. I assure you I cannot do it. My French Vocabulary consists of little more than 2 words, bon and jour, so I definitely need and want help.

New languages mean we are helping more people, so we definitely need more new translators.

Anyone interested in helping should PM 'bonjour' and let me know.

As we near a new release of OSCAR, I need to correct one of my earlier answers.

A few improvements have been made to oximetry import, but not the major revisions that I thought back in June were going to be in this release. On the other hand, this release is coming out sooner than I had anticipated back then. The oximetry wizard will now, for example, remember the folder it last imported data from. But there has not yet been a major reorganization--that's still on our list for a later release.

My kudos to the Oscar team!!!! I have been struggling to find software to allow me to analyze my own data ever since I got a new Philips DreamStation three years ago. OSCAR is amazing and very complete. I plan to try to add some O2 data tomorrow. Philips thinks the best way to manage their end users is to keep them in the dark.

I strongly recommend you redact your posts to omit name, address, email, phone number, etc. Posting this information is just an invitation to receive lots of spam.

It's not really a new GUI; an overhaul is planned for a future release. There have been lots of usability improvements. The next version, for example, will have a way to automatically redact personal information from the screen and reports to make it easier to post screen shots.

AB hosts private forums for OSCAR development there and to access you have to be a member there.
Once you PM me there I'll add you to our private Beta forum and we can take it from there.
