AHI chart... Not sure what this is representing so I am not sure how to read it. I was told it was not one that has been worked on a lot.
It's one of the most useless charts and really should be removed, it's there for people that can't look at the event flags and see "oh, there's a bunch of flags here"
Yes. There has been discussion about AHi diagram. Now when AHi occurs, the diagram is increasing AHI one step higher and it is there an hour and then drops to previous level. And if there occurs another apnea when the previous AHi is high it incrueases again level for an hour duration. Some oscar developers think that the reality is more complex than that. Maybe we get some day better AHI effect curve.

I want to Thanks to all involved in creating OSCAR for us who like to know what is happening to our sleep with Cpap machines of all different makes and characteristics.
Excellent job well done!

I just installed the latest release.
I don't know what's going on 'under the hood,' but now the daily number of hours my CPAP was turned on is totaled correctly!
Before, it didn't add my typical afternoon nap time to my regular night's sleep. Now it does -- so I can compare my total hours of sleep since I began taking naps with all the data from prior years. As I had expected (hoped), the total sleep time is about the same, despite being broken into two periods.
Thank you for this and all the other improvements in the software!

OSCAR V1.1.1 Windows 10
Edited: (Erroneously referred to OSCAR as Oasis)
After several months of flawless use, OSCAR stopped automatically loading my data from the SD card of my machine. I do this daily.
Previously, as long as I had the card in the micro-chip reader, OSCAR would open to the Welcome page, after a few seconds, start loading my data. A few days ago, Oasis opened to the welcome page and stayed there. I eventually notice the “no profile detected” message despite I always have had a profile, and I could go to File --> Edit Profile and see my profile. The only way to continue was to create a new profile.
Now OSCAR opens two pop-ups I have to deal with and then it loads my data: the first popup ask me whether or not I want to load SleepHead data (I do not) and the second asks me to confirm the source of the data located in in the chip reader which is always correct so I click on Yes. Are these new "features?"

I presume by "Oasis" you mean "OSCAR". My first thought is that this might be a file management problem on your computer. OSCAR will ask whether you want to migrate SleepyHead data only if the database directory it is trying to open either does not yet exist or is empty. If you have imported data before, the directory should certainly not be empty. The first step in solving this problem is to find out where OSCAR thinks the database directory is. Start OSCAR, then select Help/Troubleshooting/System information. That will show you the database directory. Is that correct? If so, look at that file with Windows Explorer and see if there is any data in the directory.
Let me know what you find out and we'll see what the next step is.

I edited my original post to get rid of the reference to Oasis. I have no idea where that came from. I use brackets to hide personal information in the paths below.
The link displayed in Help --> Troubleshooting --> System Info is: C:/Users/[my user name]/Documents/OSCAR_Data which is the folder location. Underneath that folder, I have a Profiles folder which now has two profiles folders: [previous profile] [new profile}. Each profile has similar structures. Below is my attempt to represent the folder/files structure under [new profile].
[new profile] (a folder) (dashes indicated subfolder or files within a subfolder)
----PRS1_J25877411B1B4 (a folder)
------Session.info
------Summaries.xml.gz
----PRS1_J2588025758E6 (a folder)
------Session.info
------Summaries.xml.gz
(there are other files in [new profile])

We have improved file error checking in the next version of OSCAR. I will send you a PM with a link to an installer for the latest test version for Win64. Run that and see if you have the same problem. Presuming you do, then go to Help/Troubleshooting/Make a zip of log files. I'll provide a dropbox address to upload that zip file to.

(repeating from the PM for the benefit of others who might have this problem) I have installed and ran the application. The SleepyHead prompt is gone. I did not check the import tab in Permissions before I manually loaded (shift-F2) the data. But now they are set to automatically load data. But still, when closing OSCAR and reopening I would want my specified default view (in my case the Daily view) to appear automatically. I could not find in Permissions where that is.
Thanks for your help.

There are preference settings to automatically import, which I understand some find useful. There is a preference setting to automatically open the last opened profile at startup. If that is set, OSCAR opens at the Welcome page for that profile. There is no option to automatically open the Daily page after automatically importing.

Again thanks for the help. It is still a mystery that a stable version would suddenly start acting differently. It would nice if we could specify a default view both after import and anytime we launch OSCAR when there is no import.

Some much needed clean up of this thread again as it went OT and was fast becoming a pissing contest.
If you all want to continue the fight....start a separate thread/topic please.
