Also, wanted to know if anyone out there has experienced sinus problems as a result of cpap therapy (under the nose mask)? I remember getting a sinus infection when I was breathing in lots of dry air while on vacation in Colorado. Since I often wake up with a dry mouth during the night, and my nose is quite tender and somewhat stuffed/runny, wondering if I have more sinus issues and if so may need to try a new mask too to keep that from reoccurring?

It's probably not related so much to the mask but the humidity being delivered to the mask.
Google "cpap rhinitis" and start reading.
You may need more or less humidity added to the air being delivered to your mask.
The nasal mucosa is a funny little thing...when it gets irritated it reacts with allergy like symptoms. It's not a real sinus infection but it sure feels like it. Congestion, drainage, itchy, sneezy, etc.
Nasal mucosa can get irritated from either too little moisture or too much moisture and everyone's mucosa is different in how it responds so this is something we have to figure out ourselves through trial and error experiments.
If you are using a relatively low humidity setting....try a higher setting.
If you are using a relatively higher humidity setting....try a lower setting.
If you are using a middle of the road setting you can toss a coin but the majority of people seem to need a little more than who need less.
The fact that you had similar symptoms when in the dry air of Colorado...you probably need more moisture.
I had the same thing happen to me when I lived in Las Vegas and I wasn't even on cpap when I lived there. Now I have to use a relatively high setting on my humidifier or else I get a nasty allergy like attack of symptoms that can take 2 or 3 days to go away. I have it happen every time I forget to add water to the chamber and I run out of water during the night and end up not getting enough moisture.
I try not to forget.

The humidity thing is another reason I like the Autoset over my previous machine (Series 60 APAP). Maybe that's different in the new PR unit, but I had a choice of Off and 1-5, and I always blew through the water reservoir unless I picked 1 or (in the summer) 2. I think the Resmed has a much finer control, and even at 4 I don't consume all of the water of a full tank.
For a chance I'm waking up without an irritated nose...

I have the Resmed airsense 10 Autoset FOR HER, and it is not pink.
Cream and light gray, with the cream front panel removable so you can make it any color you want.
Spare face plates can be purchased if voiding the warranty is a concern.
One could even get wildly creative--sequins, gems--bling it up!

Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset - very much 'a machine' and likely the best around right now. Another version of it - same name but with 'For Her' added at end is even a bit better and is not just 'for her', not the smartest naming choice they could have made (it also may be pink

).
I think you can get different colors now. At least when I last looked I saw a choice of colors...
Please!
Show us WHERE.

.
Note: all airsense 10 machines have a removable faceplate
that can be cleaned or decorated safely away from the machine.
Froggy, here is a page with the available skins. I'm guessing they are the same in the U.S. as in Aust.
https://cpap.com.au/pages/cpap-decorati ... irsense-10
I think I like the 'Nautical' one best.

They often give the skins away free with new machines. I'm only hiring my current machine, but when I buy my own, in a few weeks, I'm going to make sure I get a deal with a free skin.
I had a look for sites in the U.S. with skins, and couldn't find many, but I found one where they've got some, and you can also send them one of your own photos, and they will make that into a personalized skin. That sounds like a nice idea.

Here's the site for that one:-
https://www.sleepresolutions.com/blog/t ... cpap-users
If you want to send to Aust. for one, which has all the skins in my previous post on it, the site for those is this one:-
https://cpapskins.com.au/product-catego ... rsense-10/ They are $30 (Aust.) each. That's probably about 5 cents, U.S. money.

Kidding, but I'm guessing it is about $15, U.S.. I don't think the postage would cost much, as they wouldn't be very heavy to post.

Well, I got the ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset For Her today! I was practicing with it and felt like it's harder to exhale. Breathing in and out not as comfortable but I have a feeling it's because something isn't set up right. Anyone have advice on what I can do for tonight?
Thanks!!
