Speaking of mowing....my doctor told me that when he did the surgery on my wrist...I was awake but had a nerve block and the I don't care what you do to me drug .....he said the entire time I tried to talk him into telling my husband that I would be okay to mow the yard on my riding lawn mower. He wondered why I was so fixated on doing the mowing...
As it turned out I had pins in my wrist bones and those pins stuck out and often got caught on the inside of the cast and would hurt like hell when they got caught and I really didn't want to mess with the mowing and turning of the steering wheel which undoubtedly would have cause those pins to catch more often than they did. Geezzz....just turning over in bed felt like someone was poking me with an ice pick inside that cast.

Pugsy, I turned lucky again in surgery yesterday. they put me out for it, not knowing what they would have to do. they just physically shifted everything into place and it stayed! did not get pins, but they were prepared to do so.

When my crystal ball gets back from the shop I will accept your challenge but until then....not enough information to do anything but make a WAG and I don't do wags.
Obviously something changed to cause an increase in central/CA apneas but as to what....beats the hell out of me and I won't go down the wild ass guess road at all.
Don't do WAGs, what kind of a dog lover are you, I've been doing WAGs for 75 years, I still have time for more.....

I'm glad you survived your fall, but darn, I wanted to play before you spilled the beans (hard at work all day!).
I was gonna make the most obvious guess . . .
ALIENS!!!
Hope your bones knit together quickly. That would sure mess with my knitting!

Tell her, "
Hon, since you did such a good job with the lawn, how about you get the ladder out and trim some of those branches?"

Reminder: she might find the grass shears.
Or rat poison, or weed killer . . .
(As tempting as it seems, don't milk it.)

Thanks for your comments. New pic, 20 days after fall from tree! 20 days after incident, last couple days with little pain meds and sleep breathing is back to mostly normal! Surgery day was the worst night.

And Pugsy nailed it.

Between the pain, the meds and all the other stuff you are going though
you can expect to have some weird looking reports and probably
a lot of either false positive events flags or even some real centrals flagged due to some secondary effects of any pain meds you might be taking for probably at least a
couple of weeks.
