hey, dog slobber? can you help this fellow out? thanks!
if i work this right, dog slobber will see this notification when he next logs in
<fingers crossed>
LOL.
If OSCAR is hanging since trying to import the new data, but you can't remove the profile containing the corrupt data (because OSCAR hangs), then you'll need to remove the profile from outside of OSCAR.
In Windows explorer browse to
Documents/OSCAR_Data/Profiles you will then see a directory for every profile. You should you can then delete the directory of the offending profile.
if i delete the profile I may lost all the data?

Earlier you said you created a second profile for the ASV Data.
I was working under the assumption the ASV was in a different profile than your Respironics data.
You can try this, and I would suggest you backup your data before hand.
In your profile will be a directory for each machine, you can try deleting just the directory for your ResMed ASV. That *might* leave your other data intact.
But there are other files that reference the various machine and date ranges. Yanking some of them out, may very well further corrupt the files.
This kind of comes under the category of; if you need to ask how to do something, you probably won't be successful doing it.

You don't back it up from the CPAP machine you backup the data on your computer.
If OSCAR is still hanging then you will likely have to remove all the remnants of the data. This means Documents/OSCAR_Data. Then hopefully you can re-install it.
Assuming you Respironics data has it's own SD Card you can still import what data it has.

What version of OSCAR are you running 1.1.0 ? If so try holding the shift key down whilst starting Oscar this will try and start OSCAR with a software based screen renderer
