Seems to me that this thread has been amazingly calm compared to past ones on the subject.

I like to think that we are becoming more sensitive--and we can acknowledge that
getting "suckered" is not really the victim's fault,
but that the scammers are getting so dad-gum GOOD at it that anybody can bite the poison apple.

What *IS* their fault is when the victims double down and embrace their poor decision in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Yeah, I have no sympathy for those who are so embarrassed by their error,
that they become evangelists for their new masters.

Yes, it is. The sooner one takes responsibility of their actions, the quicker they learn.
