I have a Resmed P10 mask and to be honest I clean my mask at one time every day with those alcohol swaps(100 pack$3.00) and it takes about 1 minute and I use only one. Almost Everyone here 5 years ago said don't use alcohol on silicon but it was fast and the safest cleaner out there. I still use Alcohol swaps for the last ten years on other masks and it seems not to bother them. Why alcohol swaps?, Alcohol as I found out years later is used in medical industry since time and even when getting needles to clean kill surrounding germs on skin before injection. Alcohol will coat and dry out germs breaking the shell of the germ killing it quickly from my limited research. People who shave will use aftershave with alcohol approx 14% in it to clean small abrasions so you know alcohol is used on the skin with success. Soapy water is good but not as good as Alcohol swaps IMO, If you decide to use Alcohol swaps they are a little pricer than Dawn dish soap but when traveling they are very convent.
As for the longevity of a silicon pillow for a P10 mask it lasts for many months but the elastic head gear will not and that is the weakest part of the mask and the P10 is a great mask like the Swift FX mask is- another great mask I used for years and also used alcohol swaps on that one also. Alcohol swaps range from 65-85% alcohol combined with distilled water from my understanding. Buy the good ones made in the USA, cheaper smaller ones are not as good. These are excellent ones and are in little packets individually wrapped.

Alcohol swabs--~$4.50 for 400, at Costco.
Comparable quality to BD, and way, way better than the el cheapos at Walmart.

Am I right to understand that y'all aren't replacing the cushion every month as the manual suggests but once every year?

I have used these masks for over a month, but they did get floppy and start to leak. Since Medicare provides one a month, that is when I change it. I may try cutting the small piece between the nose. I breathe better using a Breathe Right strip on my nose already, so this would be even better.

I use my p10 pillows for 3 weeks, but only wipe with
an unscented baby wipe when it is needed.
PS, the image posted by SyCoREAPER is NOT from a p10!
