We both feel so much better now and will start getting out more.

oh! absolutely. wife and i have a golden retriever. we take him out each day to a variety of parks here. there are hardly any people about and we've been doing this since the inception of "stay safe-stay home".

and we've been doing the take away for some time now, as my belly will attest to.

while out personal part of the stock market hadn't completely recouped(per the statements we received covering all of may), we are showing a significant rebound.

I have put Paradise back into my usual set list. My parents were born in Eastern KY, not Western, but ideas on "progress of man" were much the same at both ends.

My read of the Fool article was only that we have better tools in place than in March--testing and masks and experience, for example. Nothing more profound than than that was in the piece. But at least it's a positive thought.

Key words from article about CDC are "may be" and "such as" and "local level." Nothing outright contradictory to the Fool article about widespread lockdown, as I read it.

Of course both are speculative guesswork. But still.

I was out in our front garden yesterday when the neighbour who lives in the house behind ours walked by and we started chatting.

I asked her if she had been away because I had not seen much activity in their home (normally I see the light on there at night).

She told me the last few months have been brutal.

She got Covid19 in April as did her adult son. Her son landed up in ICU, he was not on a ventilator however. He is no longer in hospital but still very much not himself.

Sadly, her husband also got Covid19 and passed away from it … he was a fit and healthy 74 year old.

They have no idea where the 3 family members got it. She and her husband had only been to the grocery store and pharmacy. She is feeling better but still quite weak, yesterday was the first time she had been out for a walk since she had been sick with Covid19.

The more friends you have, the more people you know who have been infected.
I guess the people who believe there is no virus simply have no friends.
That's one way not to get it--be a misanthrope--with no friends.
