ResMed redesigned the elbow on the F20 last year at the time the F30 mask came out. Both masks use the same elbow.
The new elbow on the F20 has a new better diffused venting system so the air doesn't shoot out as far and it's more diffused.
When I went to the P10 which has a diffused venting system after using the Swift FX for years which didn't have the diffused venting system, my husband mentioned how nice it was to not have a cold air stream blowing in his face or in the middle of his back.
And now with the Bleep I fixed my own diffuser and he doesn't get any air stream with it either.
