Oh are we calling political propaganda funny memes now ?

When we go OT we open ourselves up to both sides. The good, the bad and the ugly.

Yeah....maybe more appropriate in the COVID anything goes thread which is chocked full of politics but if we Foe'd people just because of politics....sigh....we might miss a lot of good stuff.

Everyone has the right to their opinion and to express that opinion and while I might not agree with that opinion...I do respect their right to have it. I think you have something similar in your signature line.

You didn't limit your OT virus memes to only "funny" memes...and didn't limit it to "non political" memes either.
And "funny" or "political" actually comes down to what a person believes in doesn't it?
What one person finds offensive the next person might think is funny as hell. Who is right?

She absolutely has the right to say it, just as I have the right to not look at it. I'm utterly sick of politics infecting my happy places. If Its unfortunate I can't just block her in this one thread.
I don't mind the occasional political meme. I've seen others but pure propaganda first thing in the morning set off my red head genes. Lol. I might be grey now but they still lurk to bite me in the behind.

It's ok, I don't want to stifle speech, I just don't want to read it. I've ignored a few other political memes. It just blindsided me this morning before I had consumed my caffeine Thanks.

Probably won't work. Remember what one person thinks is just funny as hell another person thinks is offensive as hell because it is obviously political.

When we do OT threads....it's fair game pretty much and not much we can do about it except bitch about it which does no good.
That's what OT means...enter at your own risk kind of thing.
It is what it is. There is no OT police. Unless things get really, really, really ugly....I won't step in.

I didn’t realize memes with a political slant would be considered offensive, after all the are a number of other memes in this thread that are political.

Hope this meme isn’t to political. I view the efficacy of drugs as a scientific quandary rather than a political issue, but unfortunately all may not agree with that point of view.

i happen to mostly agree with you. i was thinking, though, if baby made her, uh. can't think of the word. desire? feelings? known, it may help things.

i mean, if she asked people to be non-political, at least they'd know beforehand that it's unwanted. then whoever posts political slants would definitely be an *sshole.
