It actually happened a lot more frequently pre covid. Now I get most stuff through order online and pick up. I only actually go into a grocery store when my freezer gets low on meat. Then its go in, go directly to what I am looking for check out and leave as quick as possible. Found a little farmers market to get fresh veggies so I don't have to go into a big box store very often.

Went to Ross and another store today looking for work clothes. Omg its awful. Everything picked over and depleted. No dressing rooms open to try stuff on. The other store was having an 80% off going out of business sale. The store manager said she had worked their 25 years and only found out Monday the store was closing. Luckily, it was mid week so I was the only one there. She said grab want I need now because she was pretty sure her bosses were going to pull the plug Wednesday and not even finish out the week.
