Red beans and rice--almost impossible to fail!
Oh please - do tell! I make pathetic red beans and rice. How can I get a delicious red sauce?
Hey, I'm from New Orleans originally, do you want my red beans & rice recipe (along with the steps in order to make them nice and thick)?

Wish me luck.

This is what having too much time on my hands has done to me. :(

I think therefore I am. I think.

ends up to be a very good story at the end.

A friend of my sons was driving home from work last week and saw a dog chained to a tree along the highway. Being a dog lover( She has 2) she got out of her car to investigate. She found a note attached to her collar and a small bag of dog food at her feet, the note said that with all that was going on they could no longer keep the dog. After having a good cry and trying to also unchain the dog, she put dog, note and food into her car and continued on home. She kept the dog for a few days but her older dog did not like the new rescue so she started to call friends for help. Her last call went to my son, who decided to go over and take a look at this abandoned dog. Turns out the dog is a pup about 6 or 7 months old and looks like a boxer mastiff cross... going to be one BIG dog when she is full grown. Needles to say, son comes from an animal loving family that have rescued lots of pets over the years, and decided he could not let this one go the dog pound. He has had her now for about 4 days and both of them are as happy as can be.
I talked to him last night and he said he had his friends to help name her, he would call her by different name until she would pay attention to one.............. LILY. Looks like a happy ending to me!

Cheers and please all be well.
Nan
